I want to introduce you to my friend Ryan. I first heard of him through another good friend, Jose (aka Quest). We were putting our event for Smokey Mountain together and Ryan’s name kept popping up in our list of “Beatboxers We Want to Work With.”

First off, let me say that I LOVE hiphop. And I have always been fascinated by beatboxing. If I had extra time, this is one of the things I would really love to learn, so when I am around talents such as Ryan, I am absolutely enthralled. There are other equally skilled beatboxers around as well, such as DJ Dubious, Picoy Cruz and DJ Myke from the Akafellas. If you have the chance to catch them live, please do so!

I hope to give you a quick history of beatboxing one of these days, but in the meantime, check out Ryan Andres aka Psylent bust out “Try Peace”. He is absolutely amazing. Ryan is also a student at the Ateneo Law School.
