Department of Education Seeks To Fill Gaps

In a recent press release from Education Secretary Armin Luistro, the Department of Education reiterated its goal of providing quality education for all.

Its efforts are clearly reaping its rewards. Recently, its public school repair project called  Brigada Eskwela won an Anvil Award of Merit in the education category, becoming the only government agency to be awarded with such an honor. The Anvil Awards are given out by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines. The Brigada Eskwela project encourages both the public and private sector to take part in investing the education system and its rehabilitation.

Republikha supports the Department of Education in its efforts to fulfill UNESCO’s Education for All mandate. It is our hope that we can positively contribute to the furthering of our chidlren’s education through our projects and initiatives. This is our way of helping the Department of Education fill in the gaps that have plagued our education system for so long.
