In 2009, RepubLIKHA will unveil its first project: a full-length children’s music album, entitled JOOMA JAM, featuring music from 19 of the Philippines’ most popular and critically-acclaimed artists and bands who have signed up to support our vision.

While the music can be enjoyed by people of all ages, the album is being created primarily with pre-school children (ages 4 to 7) in mind. The song melodies are simple, catchy, and easily remembered, and the topics are taken from a pre-school curriculum (e.g. counting, colors, books, making friends, the flag, etc.).

The songs - which have English and Filipino versions - are being carefully studied, guided, and pre-approved by expert educators, and each album will come with a Teacher and Parent Manual to help maximize the music as a tool for learning.

The album will be given away for FREE to public schools, and will be offered to private schools at a discounted rate, as well as sold in retail outlets and local and international online music stores.
